Pros
Resources are run relatively lean so you get a broad range of experience. Talented and friendly Staff and Department Managers. Interesting process and site with vast vast potential. Beautiful site (Bramble Island). Reasonable salaries for the area.
Cons
Laughable maintenance and capital projects budget for an aging plant. Over-emphasis on behavioural safety, over engineered safety, presumably because it's vastly cheaper. Engineered safety is more effective. Iron-fisted and unjust approach to enforcing safety, rather than looking at the facts and being reasonable. This discourages open-ness and honesty, the very thing you should promote. Poor communication and lack of trust in Staff from Senior and Site Management. Lack of attention to professional development of employees. Failure to manage organisational change effectively when personnel leave by redistributing workload rather than hiring new employees.
