Pros

Interesting business, some of staff are very talented, small enough to feel like a family, but reap rewards of parent company's size for benefits, recent release of new platform overcomes legacy issues with previous platform.

Cons

– Some staff do not pull their weight and there are no repercussions, lack of transparent compensation plans, especially surrounding bonuses. As a result, no motivation to excel other than personal pride and integrity, causing "star" players to become frustrated and "B" team to skate by. Previous President (Bill Keogh) highly respected, effective and well liked. Change in management was a mistake. Parent company does not understand business and stifles EQECAT's success.

Pros

If you're looking for a position to coast, push papers and generally avoid having to commit or produce meaningful and profitable work - this is your place.

Cons

Archaic and ignorant management that do not understand how to run a profitable and competitive business. ABS as a parent company is a horrible relationship that benefits neither party.
