Pros

Not any. BoomBox is a company run on the whim of an egomaniac.

Cons

The company has never been bigger than 55 people. But over a 110 people have left or been laid off in the place 3 years. Please look for BoomBox Inc reviews on Glassdoor for the complete story. The positive reviews are made up — you can tell by the poor writing.

Pros

Bagel Fridays, Beer Sometimes, That's about it.

Cons

Just about everything! This is a company formerly known as BoomBox Inc, which you should read the Glassdoor reviews for. They may have rebranded, but the same workplace has not changed one bit. This is a small company because everyone has jumped ship or been fired -- at one point there were 50 employees. Why? Because the CEO is tyrannical and abusive to his employees. Imagine constantly being mistreated by your boss, day in and day out, while not being adequately compensated. If you love being micromanaged and NOT being allowed to properly do your job, then this is the place for you. Don't let the hip location & lack of dress code fool you -- this is not a forward thinking company. I truly wonder why clients continue to give this agency business.

Low wage Production shop

Pros

Nice location in The Village, near all subway lines. M&Ms and bagels on Fridays. Pop corn on some occasions. Some great people doing most of the grunt work.

Cons

This is BoomBox Inc rebranded so read those reviews as well. Basically a production shop with no real creative work, just the same template reworked over and over again completed under unrealistic deadlines driven by the client. Salaries are well below industry averages, with no benefits nor bonuses. The latest word is that there won't even be a basic cost of living adjustment in 2016, so salaries will remain at the same low levels as 2015 (and before).
