ESNA in Pocahontas AR is a horrible place to work

Pros

The employees on the floor are extremely helpful and easy to get along with

Cons

The production manager is over the quality department...which is a big no-no. This should never be allowed. Production concern is getting product out the door at any means possible. Quality is concerned with making sure product is safe and working properly, even if it means big $'s are not shipped. So you can see how things clash on a regular basis. Staff is way over worked and managers and supervisors are spread to thin because they don't want to pay a reasonable salary to those who can get the job done!

Pros

Workers on the floor are amazing

Cons

Toxic, unprofessional and clueless management. Site GM was acting like some dealer out of the street, speaking with the leaders and putting his legs on the desk, understood nothing about empowering people, leadership, planning, forecast, capacity… nothing. Stay away from this company. Some of the best cnc machinists still making $10.75/hr after being there for 10 years… just because the company feels like they can take advantage of them. They like to hire a lot vietnamese that do not speak english well so they can control the pay. This company, especially the one in North Richland Hills, Texas is a joke!!!
