Pros

Great co-workers and easy place to work. Most managers are knowledgeable and you can learn from. ETIC is a small company and has established administrative processes to move things along.

Cons

Unfortunately, the company thinks CPR and 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher classes are training. There is no long-term growth for most staff. Overall company communication could be improved.

We respect your opinion. Safety is part of who we are and how we think at work and at home, it is not something you turn on and off. ETIC does have a very robust health & safety training program and an incredible safety record. Our clients wouldn’t even consider working with us if we didn’t take this extremely seriously. ETIC also has discipline specific training programs (i.e., technicians, operators, scientist, geologists, engineering, project managers, etc.). Career development, growth, and advancement will continue to be a top priority for ETIC moving forward. Culture transformation is a dynamic evolving process which doesn’t change overnight. There have been great strides towards improvement. Every employee at ETIC has a purpose and is appreciated for their efforts to carry out the best possible quality job with no compromise of their personal safety or the safety of their coworkers.

Pros

some managers were decent, average benefits, sufficient vehicle fleet although they are aging, flexibility to come and go, peer group can be helpful

Cons

No growth outside of same client sector which is a problem in long term, going backwards by reinstatement of old management, stifling feedback because it is not received well especially if has to do with family members being hired, nepotism is not good management style
