Pros

The people in the office are nice. You get 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays. Free parking.

Cons

Workload was completely unmanageable. Staff retention was appalling, I'd never seen so many people come in and out of the door. No structure or organisation. I didn't have a single one to one with my team leader my entire time there. Suggestions went ignored as management were stuck in their ways and incredibly narrow-minded. Very little training provided and thrown in the deep end. Certain customers were horrible towards staff and it was treated as if it didn't matter.

Pros

Some great people trying to do great things

Cons

Most disorganised, ineffective company I have ever work within. There is no clear direction and the manic chaos is masked as a need to work in an ‘agile’ way. There is no moral core to the organisation and it gets worse as they grow. Making redundancies without following clear processes and no backbone to do the right thing throughout the organisation. Employees have no voice and are so unheard. I cannot stress enough that this is an overworked, undervalued and toxic working environment

Pros

Team leaders and co-workers are lovely

Cons

Big bosses straight up do not care about their employees Not at all flexible (they expect parents during school strikes to use their holiday to look after their children instead of letting them work from home) Not allowed to negotiate a pay rise - the answer is always no, with no explanation whatsoever No choice in start / finish times (or lunchtimes) Literally no benefits or perks (like bonuses, cost of living payments, no health insurance, no outings etc. Big bosses get nice big bonuses though!) Wouldn’t give me a pay rise because I’d been there 7 months and not a year Low pay compared to other freight forwarders for the same job Don’t often allow overtime Will expect you to take on more work for less pay and less members of staff Unfair rules (some teams / bosses can WFH, but other teams can’t, without giving a reason) No talk / prospects about career progression
