      Pros

      Exposure to many industries. Challenging applications requiring advanced technologies. Fast pace.

      Cons

      No work-life balance. Everybody sells. Promotions and salary are directly dependent on sold projects and services. Difficult to focus and provide high quality product.

      Cons

      High turnover at BMW. Only interested in next gov't contract. No training as expected to know everything. A lot of gossip and back stabbing in Buffalo

      Avoid: Hopeless management, Think twice before you join

      Pros

      They have nice additive manufacturing machines (powder and wire based)

      Cons

      But no good brains to run the AM projects..... Management thinks that Additive manufacturing is only for Mechanical Engineers and hires the candidates mostly from the mechanical engineering stream. At worst, significant decisions are made by managers, or other key individuals, who do not possess the required knowledge in additive manufacturing (Such as writing customer AM proposals/reports/presentations) other than what is necessary for promoting their own self interests. Poor Management in AM projects: Lack of focus in quality writing of AM customer project proposals, lack of direction in executing the AM customer Projects.
