I work in operations and enjoy what I do. My role involves working on many different types of projects or initiatives, so my work never feels repetitive or stagnant, so there’s always something new to learn or solve, which keeps things fun for myself! I really enjoy the hybrid schedule and the flexibility that comes with being salaried. Work-life balance is CRUCIAL for me and I have that here. There is a strong sense of trust and autonomy, but when I do need support I know I can count on my team or leadership to lend a hand. While there are times when days or weeks can be long or challenging, it isn’t constant and overall there's a healthy balance. The team is great! On those same hard days they make it manageable and we can all laugh together about it, and the good days are just awesome. I value my collogues and and enjoy collaborating with the different teams. The culture is really focused on celebrating the wins and having fun, while also focusing on continuous growth and improvement. That mindset exists from our technicians all the way up through leadership. Growth is encouraged, but there is also an understanding that perfection isn’t realistic. Leadership is approachable, understanding, and collaborative--which in my experience is not usually the case as other companies tend to rule with an iron fist. Another major plus is that we work in the luxurious end of construction so that provides strong job security and they are able to guarantee full-time hours all year. I will leave it on this general note, people here care. They care about the clients, the final products and experiences we deliver, and they care about us--bottom line.
