      Tried to steal trading strategy from my previous firm. Pretty much no integrity here at eagle 7. He ordered me to write down the exact trading strategy with all the settings number for number from my previous firm

      Pros

      The people are very, very smart while still being laid back and friendly. That's a BIG plus. Innovation is encouraged, and your ability to perform and produce results is really only limited by your work ethic.

      Cons

      Like any successful, growing company, there are occasional hiccups in how to expand while maintaining the innovative spirit that makes the company thrive. If you want a trading/coding/quant job where you can punch a clock as if you worked at a factory, this isn't for you. People are motivated. And the pace is fast but reasonable.

      "Free" lunch topping out at $15 (incl taxes and tip). Good chairs.

      Cons

      Big egos not matched by pnl. Inferior technology that is 10 steps behind and poorly designed. Cold atmosphere due to the siloed nature of teams. Bungled Covid response lead to the temporary shutdown of the company. They would rather have traders come in and risk their health because "market conditions are good" than use that supposedly good revenue to set up sustainable remote practices.
