Pros
It’s a great mission and attracts passionate coworkers who work well in collaborative ways to promote the company and the cause.
Cons
The environment is toxic from the top (the founder) down through the ranks. The founder fires the CEO every single year, and much of the staff. So by the time you learn the ropes and are truly invested in the mission, no matter how great you are at your job, you are cast aside for a new shiny object. Objectives when being hired are broad, but then you are measured by booth sales (which makes zero sense). At the end of a year you will be beaten down, feel like you fell prey to a bait and switch and realize that your greatest accomplishments meant nothing compared to stupid booth sales (which is in no one’s job description). Toxic environment from the founder down, and no way to win in any position.
