Pros
During my time there, we had a lovely store manager. This is a job to have while you look for a better permanent job.
Cons
Upper management only cares about profits. You can’t utilize your sick time because they don’t want to pay you out, if you use sick time our manager couldn’t find cover because it’d come out of their profits. They’d rather keep only 2 staff members on the whole day than let profits dip to provide better customer service and improve business. They’d rather let snacks or ingredients run out of stock then let the manager buy more and go over the monthly budget. It all came down to money. We were paid minimum wage and while my pay or title didn’t reflect it, I was a shift lead. We had to fill out reports that were meant for a manager or shift lead. We managed all the money. $17 an hour to be treated like garbage. I worked there for six months until I found an office job and left.
