      my worst job experience

      Pros

      You get practice in cleaning and cooking ...and you get to be a taxi while you are thinking you are doing case management. .

      Cons

      This company lies on craigs list and says case management position when realy it is in home care position ... you are cleaning and cooking and running errands for clients that are suppose to have disabilities when in all actuality a lot of clients are capable of going to the grocery store on their own and doing g other personal things on their own !! however east bay innovation does not tell regional because they want to continue the funding. The Job title ILS instructor Is a fancy way of In home care giver or maid... DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME..

      Pros

      Decent benefits if you work full time Management does well for Trans and Non-binary people. including addressing people with chosen names and proper pronouns If you have strong boundaries Management will respect it.

      Cons

      Ablest and classist disability policy - incredibly problematic for a company that serves disabled people. conflict resolution is rough- disciplinary HR staff goes into a meeting with out all of the information. High turn over rate because the work is emotionally and physically exhausting. Many of the management are out of touch with the direct service provided by the Community Living Assistance

      Company has great values and actually cares for clients/consumers, they go out of their way to provide the necessary support to clients/consumers. A lot of flexibility; great for parents or students. Relaxed working environment, not many days are the same

      Cons

      Training can be short and then you must fend for yourself. Pay is not the best as funding comes from many high red tape places Inconsistent training/report writing
