Pros
You get to pretend you're helping people as the slow, inevitable crush of a soulless organization rakes in ACCCS funds (legally?) and overworks and overburdens you while simultaneously gaslighting the entire staff into thinking poor quarterly reports are their fault, but is that really a "Pro?"
Cons
Um, you have to forgo your sanity, your soul, and your morality to even attempt to function for these people? Where to begin? Let's see, I suppose the fact that staff are overburdened, they lack adequate resources, appropriate funding, training, support, safeguards, and any other reasonable expectation you could imagine from a behavioral health organization are sorely lacking might dissuade one from applying, but hey, why stop there? In fact, why don't we go ahead and pile on gaslighting, micromanaging, clock-watching, undermining, work outside clinical boundaries, and, hell, the bi-weekly ethics check in which the administration tell the staff what a horrible job they're all doing? I mean, who wouldn't want to work for an organization like that? By golly, between the inter-department political shenanigans, the backstabbing, the complete inadequacy and, quite frankly, stark ineptitude, I'm frankly quite astonished the lights are still on! In any case, if you are so unfortunate as to receive an offer to apply to this particular organization, I humbly suggest you walk headlong into oncoming traffic. It will be quicker, less painful, and overall and greater learning experience than anything EBF could offer.
