Pros

You can pretty much say whatever you want in this workplace. There are no limits on how inappropriate you can be especially if you are friends with everyone. Some managers are great to work with because they understand professionalism and they do try to offer a work-life balance but again that depends on who your manager is.

Cons

Where do I begin... Unless you plan on sucking up and becoming friends with management don't expect to move up in this company. Management gets to treat and speak to their employees however they want. You can report it to HR but guess what they just run back and tell the same person you made a complaint about without actually trying to resolve any issues that goes for management and other employees. There are racial and sexist jokes passed around like candy disregarding how they may make others feel. There are hard workers in this company who get used to do others jobs while they take about 20 smoke breaks in a day.

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

Where to start. Company culture is misogynistic. People are viewed by executives as disposable. Pretend to care what employees think by periodically sending out surveys but bury the results when they are not complimentary. Compensation is well below market. Management untrustworthy and cannot be taken at their word. Management suffers from corporate ADD following the flavor of the month in management (i.e. CRM, Net Promoter Score et.) until they lose interest or realize it requires actual work. Company departments are highly silo'd so teams often working at odds with one another. No training to speak of. Literally need to learn SAP on your own (a terrible choice for an ERP platform for a distributor).

Pros

A lot of good people work there. They promote from within more frequently than outside hires. (likely due to cost)

Cons

A lot of not good people work there. Home life stripped away as you climb the ladder. Your choice is make your job your life, being at works beck and call at all hours, or dont get promoted. No such thing as a raise in your current position. You either get promoted or leave if you want more money they will not negotiate. They consider most position changes lateral moves that come with no pay increases just more responsibility and stress. Its a boys club. If you're in the frat thats the only thing you need on your resume to climb to the top.
