Pros

At one time, Echo ran very smooth. People wanted to be part of the solution, not part of the problem. They were a growing organization with many opportunities and it was a great place. Very family oriented and it felt like your family away from home. People were happy.

Cons

The CEO is very disconnected, very much of an anti-social, disengaged type of person. It seems like he sits in his office with his blinders on, then gets mad when he finds out that his upper management team doesn't tell him all the facts. There's no loyalty there in upper management. The COO has manipulated her way to the top and forced out anybody that stood in her way, questioned her motives, or threatened coming between her and the owner. I enjoyed my time there until she came on board. She chased away some very good, very loyal and very talented team members. Honestly, it's very sad to see a great company go down that path of distrust and people having to walk on egg shells.

Growing Pains was a Family Sitcom

Pros

Echo has a family business culture, while generating a lot of revenue. All the employees work together toward one goal and get the opportunity to develop personal relationships with one another, entry level positions and executives alike. The office has an overall casual environment while maintaining the expectation that all employees are required to behave with integrity. When a co-worker is suffering a hardship, be it a death in the family, illness, etc., everyone finds a way to help - executives included. The company is also growing rapidly. This means employees who have proven they’re hard working, capable, and trustworthy, have the opportunity to grow or move into new roles.

Cons

The company is growing at a rapid pace, which inevitably requires change....and discomfort often comes before growth. I believe in growth mindset, though. You can’t get better without a few bumps in the road!

Sad Sad Place

Pros

It's easy to quickly spot Regina George

Cons

In 2018 The COO and CFO fired 14 employees and at least 28 employees have quit. New employees are led to believe the former employees were a mess. The two leaders who appear to be 'together' by many of the employees, are the number one reason the place is a mess. If the organization fails, start at the top. If you like a COO who cusses and slams tables and doors and fires employees that 'disagree' and then defame the character of those former employees with blatant lies to make themselves look better, then by all means work here. If you are a current employee- get that resume together. I don't know how the COO and CEO sleep at night after the carnage to so many good people and families they caused in 2018 due to their 'my way or the highway' attitudes.
