Pros

It is a pathetic company with absolutely no pros!

Cons

With the risk of authoring a book on workplace nightmare, here are the "highlights" - Executive circle is full of sketchy characters. They will disregard humanity and maximize their personal gains. They literally yelled at each other during meetings, raised voices with sarcasms, and acted like a group of 10-year old's. - If anything goes well, they would take credits. If anything goes not so well, it is your fault and nobody else's. Fingers will be pointed at you in front of entire corporate office being the optimal witnesses and audience. - Just look at the average tenure of current and former employees at the company and you will realize what a terrible place this is: people are abandoning this sinking ship left and right. Almost every corporate employee started recently after the company's reorg in 2020 and already left the firm with this horrible experience. - No work perks even if you work average 50-hour week all year around and no flexibility. When I say no flexibility, I meant zero, nada flexibility. Example? During the entire Covid-19 pandemic, all corporate employees were required to be on site in the office. They can claim as "essential business" all they want, but none of us in the office ever seen a recycled battery! If you voice your concerns, you would be retaliated and pressured at workplace. If you have family or kids to take care of, just forget it - it would not be a consideration by the executives and in fact, one of the executives "jokingly" put that the only reason a specific female employee was hired at Ecobat was because she had no family or kids. - While almost none of the employees got any bonuses for the 2020 fiscal year, with a perfect excuse of global pandemic (for which the executives did not even care but perfect excuse regardless), these "world class" executives shared a nice $2 million bonus despite 90% of them had only worked at Ecobat for less then 6 months at that point - what a fantastic group of people?! - Should I go on and on here, or you got the idea that this is a soul sucking, to-avoid-at-all-cost environment? Oh btw, I'm terrified to write this review due to very likely retaliation if they found out my identify so it is my opinion only (i.e. legal disclaimer).

Pros

Pay and employees are ok. Lots and lots of overtime available if really wanted. Maintenance supervisors are good.

Cons

Weak union, over worked with no downtime. Extremely hot areas and they don’t want you to take a break during breakdowns. Work every other weekend with some of them taken away completely without notice. Absolutely no communication between employees and upper management.
