Pros

•Open communication between Talent Development Dpt. & Staff. • Talent Development is a key component to Team member retention as they are receptive to feedback in order to scale

Cons

•HR & ADPO’s undermine Supervisors eager to establish ambitious culture on the on-site level. Subjective complaints between staff are not audited objectively. •No training structure established. Classes are available but often so far out, properties begin to underperform during waiting period •Framework is brittle due to onsite and executive turnover; For example, the Director Ops is only half a year in and the VP of Ops is relatively new as well. •On-site Property Managers are forced to live onsite in order to compensate staggering wages. •Industry low salaries Inevitably attract lackluster talent.

Pros

Great non management staff, nice pay. Great benefits if you are a single person.

Cons

Upper management, plays the favorite game and will let you go whenever they want. I had to fight them in court, since I was wrongly fired, when I was doing my job plus more to help a ex tenant get their refund. The ex tenant and their family tired to punch me. I went to human resources they informed me I had to file a report at the HWD police dept. While four people are walking around the building waiting for me to come out of the office.

Pros

The company offers a medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K benefits package for the employee only. Some flexibility to move between properties.

Cons

Very political organization. It was recently published from Glassdoor what companies not to work for. The article didn't name specific companies, but the focus was on signs to look for in a company that you shouldn't work for. Eden, sadly has a ton in common with this list like a VERY HIGH TURNOVER RATE. They are constantly hiring because their retention rate is horrible. You are guaranteed to be overworked and to a have poor work life balance though they claim to be one of the healthiest companies to work for. Upper management does not acknowledge long hours that you work nor do they care. They have a poor bonus structure. If you're lucky you'll get a couple of hundred dollars, but rest assured upper management is heavily bonused. If you want to work in an unerstaffed environment, you want to be over worked, underpaid, you want to receive small annual raises go work at Eden Housing Management. Someone should investigate the way they treat their employees.
