Pros

ESC is working on exciting technology, and working with interesting clients. The subject matter of public education is interesting and important. Opportunities for process improvement are large, and there is a lot to do. Pay and benefits are pretty good.

Cons

Management does not plan anything out, team members are not trained, projects are all by the seat of their pants and unnecessarily stressful. One of the owners is very chill and kind, the other one is narcissistic, unkind, stuck in his ways, and while quite intelligent and capable, is incapable of true teamwork and impossible to reason with unless it's what he already wants - also he refuses to write out instructions and has no patience for reminders or clarification. Nothing is well communicated, documentation is poor at best, and roles are poorly defined. Morale is low and anxiety is high.
