Pros

The culture is top notch, a little quirky (a good thing), and very welcoming. The office has a great vibe and people genuinely care. The inclusiveness was felt from day one, when they threw me a breakfast meet and greet. Lisa, the general manager, knows her stuff and is very approachable. Her passion has always motivated me to work smarter in the marketing team. The marketing team is a solid bunch as well. A couple years ago, there use to be long work hours on the marketing team, but we voiced our opinion and they listened. Thanks to better processes and our managers, I feel that there is a better work-life balance. Goals are now more focused and our output/ results are more impactful. In response to a previous review, I don’t find that marketing managers have unrealistic expectations. They’re smart/hard-working but also encourage a proper work life balance. Example: over the holiday break, those who took vacation days were encouraged not to even think about work. Work was transitioned to others and it seemed like a smooth process. When I worked at EI, I felt that I was part of something special. I’ll definitely miss the great work we did and also my co-workers I’d see every day. I left because I moved out of the country, but I really did love working here.

Cons

I've worked here for 3+ years and have seen the company grow, which inevitable means growing pains. Sometimes there are a lot of unknowns and we may be forced to wear many hats, but these cons can be pros as well. There is an abundant amount of opportunity for growth if you proactively seize the opportunity. My job title didn’t change over the course of 3 years, that could be considered a con for some people, but it didn’t bother me much because my roles and responsibilities were constantly evolving. Other cons: The office is located in the industrial part of Gardena, so you’ll need a car to get any decent food... unless you walk over to a place called “Hoops”, but that an entirely different review altogether.

Pros

Some staff members are friendly; others are very conniving and mask it with a smile.

Cons

The e-commerce manager is a workaholic, and she expects everyone to be the same way. There is no room for advancement because the roles are gridlocked. It's a small company.
