27% positive business outlook
Pros
good manamgnet ad nice staff
Cons
should improve the management support
Pros
The staff and management are kind, compassionate and professional. There is consistent work and the doctors are great to work with. The salary is great and the executives are more than willing to reward hard work. This has been the best work experience I have had thus far in my career. I plan to stay with EMU for many, many years.
Cons
There are no cons when working with a management team that listens and is concerned about their employees not only in the workplace but on a personal level as well
Pros
The Compensation is ok except if you’re salary, the friendly new staff help make the day enjoyable. Good for young nurses new to the field for experience and without families at home, or older nurses with adult children and flexible schedules, good OR and recovery experience. Nice doctors.
Cons
This place has No paid over time, most weeks run well over 40 hrs some times we’ll into 50 hrs a week, Schedules change on a daily making it difficult to plan appointments and out of work plans, No work culture. Not a good place to work if you have a family, management does not take advice from staff ideas even though they might help better the function of the facility.
Pros
Generous and understanding Management. Staff is great. A lot of room for growth and learning.
Cons
No cons, I’m very satisfied and looking forward to growing and learning more at EMU!
Pros
staff was amazing, a great team.
Cons
management had no prior experience in healthcare
Pros
Absolutely nothing!! you cant even have a 30 min lunch or bathroom brake. They use to have a strong staff, they all left because, this place is revolving door. The package of benefits is just fake news.
Cons
NO work/life balance, job culture doesn't exist in this place . We are currently in DON number 6 in 3 years. So many people goes out for lunch and they don't come back because is so unorganized . You will be training people on daily basis, the manager will send you to the OR without training or asking you how you feel about it. The turn over is very high , Micromanage by the CFO She has destroyed this place, but she is protected by the CEO, she can do as pleases , she is the ''I am always right person'" The HR department doesn't care about nothing, they just have a poppet controlled by the CFO. I have seen so many unethical procedures in this place that I am surprise that they are still open. The are inhuman, unconsidered, manipulative and vindictive. They claim to be diverse yet they are RACIST along with the current DON. Emu has no place for growing, everything is obsoleted, no full time employees they just relaying on Per-Diem staff. Every day is a circus, positives COVID-19 cases getting surgery done because money is the only thing they care ,this pace is liability. Take care of your licence bringing it here is a risk. working at EMU is a mental challenge, so toxic that you will put your skills and professionalism in doubt. Every meeting feels like a threat, the entire facility is wire down with cameras and microphones. RESPECT doesn't exist in the place. The owner "CEO" sees you as dispensable and will not acknowledge the work you have done, but will make accusations towards the work you are not responsible for. Save yourself the trouble.
Pros
Great employees and staff. Great for new people in the field
Cons
Poor work life balance I turn around
