Pros

Nice co-workers. Company offers lunch items that you can help yourself to on Mondays. Occasional after work drinks in the office.

Cons

Worked for a year, joining during a mass hiring for a new European market team, which was a red flag. The company fired the existing European team to relocate to London without disclosing it during the interview. The new team faced immense pressure due to poor planning. My colleague and I received minimal training for our roles, with no support or manager. Despite our efforts, we were deemed inefficient and useless by a manager unfamiliar with our market. Meetings were filled with scolding and threats to our roles if we didn't meet unrealistic targets. There was not enough staff, and they failed to listen to us when we explained the additional tasks that needed to be undertaken, which could not be numerically assessed. When I expressed interest in a suitable vacant role that aligned with my career goals, they hired externally without informing me. Discovering pay disparity was the final straw, prompting me to quit. My co-worker also quit the following day, after a meeting with a manager who was damn right disrespectful to us. This company lacks respect and appreciation for its employees. It feels like a sinking ship in there. Avoid if possible.

Pros

Some of the team members

Cons

Fake, Two faced, discriminative, non-transparent, toxic, back stabbing, disorganised & micro managed office environment. No job stability: - If you are unable to travel to the office due to public transport strikes, accidents or severe weather conditions, you have to sacrifice one of your days off - If you are ill, you are only entitled to statutory sick pay - Your operational hours can be reduced at any time and this means less pay The company recently fired almost it’s entire German staff from one week to the next. Most of the people have been working for more than ten years. This is due to the Brexit and the company being acquired by a large Chinese Home Furnishing Group.
