Tooooooòoooo much safety. I believe in safety. But there is such a thing as being too much or just plane out right ridiculous. We are all grown men and not children at play.

This review is for the Charleston branch alone. I was hired for business development, but the job was changed to estimating on the first day. I was promised people under me, a raise once another employee retired, and the ability to make the division my own. There was no follow through on a single promise. The estimating process was micromanaged through every aspect from selecting which clients and projects to pursue to the rates, expenses, profit margins on bids. However if the result were not favorable the same manager who created the final number would then turn around and point fingers and proclaim there must have been some mistake on our part. The workflow was unprofessional with meetings, reviews, design, never being scheduled in advance. In short always being reactive and never proactive. Throughout 6 years with the company there was no opportunity for growth, no incentives, and no performance reviews or evaluations and as a result salaries were stagnant.
