Pros
Would be a good place to get early experience in the field of project management. Plenty of projects and work around the country. They pay for all your travel expenses and sometimes even give you a stipend for a work/personal vehicle.
Cons
Lots of time on the computer just putting information in boxes and creating small charts and projections. Feel more like a data analyst or secretary than any kind of project manager. The people above you care a lot about the charts and projections the project manager makes, but the construction managers and (most) project managers don’t care about them and know they aren’t accurate because one rain day and that entire projection and chart is off.
