The right mix between small family owned company and larger corporpate firm, If you come from a corporate environment, you will find their well defined structure farmilar, however being a family owned private company you also get that more personal feel that doesn't exist in big corporate.
Cons
The main detractor would be the salary as compared to similar positions in big corporate. Also as with many family owned private companies there is less money in the budget. This can be frustrating when you concieve plans that will have positive effects on the company but do not have the budget to carry them through.
