EF in a nutshell:
- Although the office can celebrate the diversity, the relentless, round-the-clock work culture is obviously reflective of this. It’s a toxic work environment where longer hours equals good work rather than working smart.
- You’re made to feel guilty for leaving on time as well as taking out your entitled annual leave
- A dictator who will talk down on you like a peasant and makes the whole office run like headless chickens looking for his green markers and tracing paper
- Very white boys club of a leadership team. There’s a clear bamboo ceiling for the middle management.
- A middle management with no backbone, allowing themselves to be the punching bag of the upper leadership
- If you were to do a mistake, you’re going to be thrown under the bus whether it’s in front of the client/consultants/leadership team or not
- You can say goodbye to your time in lieu, you’d be lucky to see that bounce into your account
- The upper leadership team are openly participating in a bully culture, laughing and accepting this behaviour in the workplace
- EF actively use the probation period as a ‘filter system’ rather than what it is actually used for, creating a fear culture. Should be looked into by Fair works
- The business has been in serious financial difficulties and been appointed liquidation. Meanwhile the leadership team have kept quiet with little to no information.
- As a result of the liquidation and poor cash flow, staff are receiving their pay checks weeks late and not paid in time.
