Employed in Elite head office. Came back from holiday to be told I was being let go through no fault of my own and that I had in fact done a good job during my time there. No care by HR or Management for my welfare or what would happen next, questioned if the notice period could be extended slightly from 1 week to 2 to allow for me to search for a new job but a flat no. Contract terms are poor, annual leave bare minimum, and contract stated only a weeks notice even after probation completed. The government furlough scheme was back dated to before the date I was let go but I never received anything and was left unemployed for the pandemic. Terrible treatment and disregard by management. The company has not moved with the times and most aspects are micro managed by the MD.
