Pros

Jewish and traditional holidays off and if your a manager you only see your DM once a month so very little corp over your shoulder

Cons

They micromanage everything!!! I know a business needs to make money but nickel and diming everything and not letting a manager do their job is ridiculous . If you don't trust your manager with your asset then why employ them. 30 reports being due each month is not going to help if you don't train your workers. If you train employees then they will know how to do the job, but not if you throw them in with little to know training. Also having DMs check every transaction may help you find a few missed dollars but in the long run it not only costs you lots of salary hours it also causes bad employee moral.

Pros

The only pro is that you get approximately 25 paid holidays a year.

Cons

Where should I start? No money for supplies for the office, maintenance or curb appeal. No money for turns. Vendors don't get paid and they have managed to put many small business owners out of business because of non-payment to vendors. They do not listen to ideas from employees. The pay is LOW and NO benefits. You cannot advance unless you know someone higher up the food chain. Customer service does not exist for the residents; managers and maintenance do their best but when corporate won't make things right it reflects badly on everyone (such as having a roof collapse in a kitchen and putting a tarp on it for a year while the resident lived there and not making any attempt to fix it because there is no money). Do yourself a favor and find another place to work.

Pros

Ton of holidays, never work Saturday. You will generally find you can come and go at your scheduled time without issue.

Cons

The longer I work here, the more red flags start to go up. I've seen employees ignored when they ask for an increase, I've seen properties mismanaged with no repercussions for those employees (if they don't even need to show up to work, how does that motivate me to do my job?). No commission for leasing agents, no hope of advancement and they don't want to reinvest money into their product. Like squeezing blood from a stone. Benefits are outlandishly expensive. The previous company Emperian was run by the same people and went bankrupt. I don't see this company being much far behind it. I doubt it will be in place in 5 years.
