Great managers in my department Great colleagues who are easy to talk to/work with 20% staff discount First dibs on reduced products Rotas can be worked around regular commitments
Cons
Pays minimum wage Big pay gap between colleagues at the same level, and between staff in the courtyard & staff working in the offices. Not much overtime available due to the 9-5 opening hours Managers will deny you holiday if they feel like it, even if you've got an important event/appointment Can be soul destroying to work during their quiet months Lack of career opportunities as many staff have worked there since Elveden opened and there is low turnover in management/supervisory positions Lack of staff benefits
