I work directly with residents in a long-term care setting. The relationships you build with them are what make the work meaningful. Training covered essential procedures and coworkers are experienced and willing to help when things get hectic. Health insurance, PTO, and 401k are included. Good place to build long-term care skills if you are committed to the work.

Cons

Staffing levels can be thin at peak times and the physical and emotional demands pile up fast when that happens.
