Pros

Nice and helpful co-workers; good benefits; nice environment; opportunities for promotions, though it may take a long time for a job to open up.

Cons

Low pay; high expectations and perfectionism reign; certain supervisors tend to micro-manage staff and others delegate to line employees in order to "stay under the radar" themselves. As a line employee, I felt my CEO treated me as a non-entity, hardly acknowledging me and my work.

not great to live or work here

Pros

immediate supervisors give pats on backs and help when asked; time off is almost always approved; most residents are truly kind and happy to live here

Cons

managers get better benefits and they get a bonus when we do good work; gossip has become the main form of communicating - everything is know/discussed by the gossipers they talk about resident health issues and how much money they have and employee salaries and why an employee was talking to hr; benefits and wages have been cut and are now worse than other places; promotions are based on popularity and how many residents are our friends some workers have relationships with residents outside work hours and there more popular; many of us feel we cant complain or we will be fired; we cant talk to hr because its not confidential and we are not allowed to talk to board members

Pros

The benefits were good, pay was above minimum wage

Cons

Management wasn't that great, schedule was unreliable, a lot of workers under 18 were being overworked. One supervisor can be very moody, he likes to snap at you and I think he forgets alot of us are teenagers.
