Eminent SEO is lower than average pay (it is very low-paying). Typically the only people that make it long-term there are people who don't really value themselves or have much ambition. The CEO accidentally sent me the W-2 of her right-hand employee who had been with the company for a long, long time. I was shocked at how low that employee's salary was (like 50% of the market rate... it was embarrassingly low) The CEO of the company has overcome much in her life to achieve the success of the company. But, along with that, she has a bit of an "only me" mentality where she feels threatened if others are successful in their roles. While the CEO does offer her genuine friendship with all of her employees, it seems as though she thinks that it is part of the compensation package and as a result pays her employees significantly less.
