      Pros

      Solid team in San Mateo with broad range of backgrounds spanning top marketplaces, etailers, etc. Shared vision on serving SMB with a different kind of marketplace with emphasis on the unique & domestically sourced product

      Cons

      Alibaba seemed to lose interest after their IPO and pulled the plug on financing shortly after consumer facing launch of 11 Main Lack of transparency after 11 Main was spun off to small struggling marketplace (OpenSky)

      Pros

      Great engineering culture, ready to innovate technologically and experiment with alternatives. Open information flow from management so far during my time with the company. Really friendly group of people to work with - there don't seem to be big egos on the team and everyone is willing to pitch in and get the job done.

      Cons

      In a bit of an awkward space with a speculative path to profitability in new ventures, but also the pull of maintaining the existing business.
