If you are new to but interested in the impact investing landscape, 17AM is a great place to meet intelligent people with a great depth of expertise in their respective fields. The opportunity is really what you make it - be open about your interests, ask plenty of questions, and connect with other fellows/the executive team outside of work. The virtual setup allows you to meet and work with a number of people you may not otherwise cross paths with, and those conversations offer as much value to the fellow as the mission-critical, firm-wide financial considerations.
Cons
It is unpaid and the workflow can come in waves, but there is a lot of opportunity for dialogue with your project manager to adjust if need be.
