There is a high degree of nepotism. Leaders are either bringing in their friends, even if they are not experienced enough, and a lot of the managers in the GTM team have very little experience actually managing. Majority of the team do not hit their quotas. And it's not market conditions either as it's been like this for the past four years. The product is at an enterprise level. The team as a whole isn't experienced enough to be selling in the enterprise sphere.
It's a toxic atmosphere that's only getting worse. If you ever question anything you'll lose favor with leadership and be on the chopping block. I've seen three colleagues let go after voicing their opinion.
The most shocking aspect is that a number of my colleagues give incorrect information and have very little knowledge of the product. No one seems to care. In fact two people who gave out incorrect information numerous times got promotions.
