Pros

A supportive and inspiring CEO - Alex Fedosseev has a great vision for his company and works around the clock to better the start-up and accommodate all needs of his employees. When I had to take time off due to health issues (I took more than half a year off for treatment) he welcomed me back with an offer for the same position that I held. A real team experience - I managed a project and had contributors on my team from various departments. Good salary, I don't want to mention numbers, but I started as an intern and was making above minimum wage.

Cons

Small company - when I joined the company was very small and didn't have as many perks as bigger start-ups. This is something that can be changed by some hard work and good investments.

Pros

My work at 1World began almost as soon as the company was established, so I've been through most of what the company has been through and had an opportunity to work on almost all company projects. To me, the company has always done most things right, including: - Great team; even though people have come and gone throughout the years, the core team was always friendly, supportive, and open. - A challenging startup environment, with lots of complex and interesting projects. - Flexible hours and ability to work remotely. - Great benefits, especially health insurance. - Good company culture.

Cons

Some downsides would be related to working for a small company that was still effectively a startup: - Projects were interesting and challenging, but often required working long hours and on a fairly rushed schedule due to tight deadlines. - Compensation wasn't as high as market rate for a similar position in this area.
