Pros

There’s some great people that work for the company, the supplements are high quality, you get 50% off as an employee, get to meet some pretty spectacular human beings and it’s kind of impossible to not lead by example in your own health working there, which is never a bad thing.

Cons

There is basically no HR (fun fact: it’s family) Leadership (not all) will often belittle you, talk down to you and act like the only other jobs out there if you leave are greeting people at Walmart. Public “accountability” via singling people out is a popular tactic there and there’s no clear path in your role - especially in sales. You have to post every single day on social media stories to get a bonus, which isn’t bad until you need at least one day to yourself off of social media. You don’t realize how much of this job consumes you until you leave and realize how you were constantly stressed and felt like you were never doing enough in your role, in addition to the constant threats of you or your role not being around. There is zero job security and there’s also zero sick days. If you need a day off, use some of your 2-week PTO and prepare to only have one day off for the holidays (Christmas and Thanksgiving), New Year’s Day is a work day. If you’re a new mom, you will be undervalued and not taken care of. “This job comes first, not your family,” was a famous line told to legionnaire coaches in a meeting a couple years ago, just to give some context. The CEO takes many family vacations and talks about being there for your children when they’re young as you won’t get that time back, but the culture doesn’t make that as easy for employees, especially moms.

Pros

Where do I start? If you are a high performer, or someone who desires to become the best version of yourself, this is the place for you. This job will push you to places you did not think you could get to and it is incredibly fulfilling. My entire life is better because of working here. Physically, financially, mentally, and emotionally.

Cons

I am just saying this as it is a con for most people, there is no such thing as work/life balance. This job has to be who you are and what you do in order to be able to keep up.
