Pros

Directors of the parent group seem very switched on with good ideas, it however all falls apart with the on-site management team. There are some good people working there however newer team members are not professionally managed & the culture is overtly lax and casual

Cons

-Poor / non existent onsite leadership -Culture of senior leaders, inc HR, having relationships with subordinates - Lack of cohesion between office & engineering staff - Poor H&S practices - Clique culture, if your face fits or you are related to/ in a relationship with a manager then favouritism comes into play - Lack of training & development opportunities - Staff put in positions with adequate experience / qualifications - Facilities old & not cared for - Company vehicles poorly maintained - Unprofessional behaviour is the norm

Pros

Wide variety of aircraft types (good for the cap 741) A few colleagues who are supportive. Convenient parking (no security)

Cons

Facilities are very old and poorly maintained. That while reported consistently get ignored. Little investment in the facilities. A good example of this was the leaking roofs. The hanger roofs leak. Where stores put parts on racks water was pooring down onto the parts, instead of fixing the roof they just put a cover over the racks? Never worked in a hanger with “pot holes”! Staff turn over is high, I had 3 different bosses over 3 years which made consistently difficult. They drove the one of my bosses to constant breakdowns and tears. It’s unbelievable how they were treated. Health and safety standards are ignored or brushed off, maintenance practices often cut corners. It’s a cliquey culture (if your face fits kinda deal) bullying culture. Shift managers are snakes. Being thrown under the bus to protect them selfs is very common.
