Friendly employees that's about it

This place is a real hole. They laid off their highest paid, most loyal employees during Covid and then removed all benefits, promotions, and enjoyment from work. People that worked here for years. People who had just had children. All let go because they "couldn't afford them". But then gave out very large bonuses to the employees at the end of the year. So where did all that money suddenly come from? Loyalty means nothing. I'm scared every day for my job because people who were much better than me and worked here for years got dropped without even a second thought. Disgusting, greedy company. Can't wait to get away.

As the CEO, it is never easy making tough decisions and it is always my intention to make the best decisions for our the 230+ team members at 365, our customers and our community. Sometimes I miss the mark and it seems in your case that is true. What is the most disappointing to me is that you do not trust me enough to come to me directly with concerns and I hope that by being transparent in this public forum I will gain that trust. Due to the impact of Covid-19, it is true that in 2020: • Employees were laid off for the first time in company history • We paused the 401k match • We temporarily increased the costs of benefits to employees • We did not give raises in 2020 • Some staff offered to defer a percentage of their salary I am happy to report the following actions since: • Employees were laid off o We began hiring for new roles that fit our strategic goals and growth • We stopped 401k match o 401k match was reinstated 1/1/21 • We increased the costs of benefits to employees o We have decreased the costs of benefits to employees as of 12/1/20 • We did not give raises in 2020 o Raises will take place in 2021 • Some staff offered to defer a percentage of their salary o All staff have received all of their deferred salary as of 1/1/21 In addition to the actions above, we have: • Paid full bonuses out in 2020, the tenth year in a row • Significant investment in our HQ building, opening in Spring 2021 made possible with new investment partners. • A plan to hire 30+ people in 2021 that fit our strategic goals • Investment in Stockwell.ai • New investment from major Private Equity group • Paid additional, significant bonuses to all staff members in December 2020 I will also cover this information in our monthly all-hands meeting in case you do not see this response. Pros

I am a current Human Resources Intern for 365 Retail Markets, and my experience has been nothing but great so far. From day one, I noticed that culture is one of their main strengths. Everyone is collaborative, welcoming, and a helping hand when navigating a new workplace. My manager has been a great help through onboarding and more. They provide guidance and allow me to contribute to the department in a meaningful way. I always know I have support with the tasks I am assigned. Overall, this internship is already offering me great benefits such as learning opportunities, hands-on experiences, and building a strong network through meaningful relationships with colleagues across the organization.

The company is genuinely invested in its people and works hard to create an environment where employees can grow, feel challenged, and enjoy coming to work each day. There has been significant growth recently, creating exciting opportunities for development and career advancement while maintaining a strong focus on employee experience and culture.

Cons

With the pace of growth, there may be uncertainty as new processes and structures are introduced. However, the team is proactive about communication and is continuously working to improve processes, provide clarity, and keep everyone informed as the company grows.
