Pros
Weekly lunch, decent benefits, flexible work hours, decent office space, great employees (other than management). The company was very good and on a clear path to great success before being bought in 2020.
Cons
The technology is over seven years old now, and though the software gets updated, the hardware is stale with only a look and feel update. The owner has no clue how to run a company that produces hardware and has no humility to listen to any people in R&D. They can't pay any vendor on time, and delaying payment as much as possible is basically policy. Payroll was missed twice during my time there. All of the best R&D people either quit or were fired. The company is clearly in massive debt and struggling to stay afloat despite the fact that it pays thousands a month for the owner's U.S. apartment, which she's never at. The plan is probably to ship the entire operation to France slowly, assuming it can last that long. Blatent nepotism.
