Pros
- Great office culture - Opportunity to work on emerging technologies and build your skills - Employees are empowered to make decisions and take smart risks - Ability to work with some of the smartest people across the globe (I'm constantly learning new things) - Very family like feel to our teams (even with the team members located across the globe!) You may be yayaya-ing me as you read but I've been around longer than most and have see the changes in the company and I can say that we're the best we've ever been right now. Management has taken a really proactive role in trying to address the concerns of all of their offices. It's not easy to work across three vastly different cultures and trying to make sure the playing field is level. Cons
If I have to be picky - working across a massive timezone swath can be tricky. Overlap with India is pretty much nill which means early morning (like 6am early morning) meetings or late evening meetings. There's quite a bit of transformation happening at the moment (explosive growth) so of course that causes some churn but it's all manageable in the grand scheme of things.
