Cons
Jonathan Rothberg is an absent founder who makes decisions on the basis of increasing his net worth rather than building real, impactful medical devices. The company's slogan of "democratizing healthcare" is a thin facade behind which lies a complicated corporate structure designed to milk as much work out of unsuspecting researchers and engineers. Equity grants are not respected and salaries are under market rate. A classic example of valuing speed over velocity.
