Pros
The technology is incredible. The potential for revenue is limitless. The "heart and soul" of the company (those working on the floor) is incredible. The folks in charge of the day-to-day management of the plant, "the brains" of the company, leave a lot to be desired.
Cons
1) Low Pay: Does not meet the standards for the job title...and that is across the board for all positions except the top four managers in the company. They pay in the bottom 10th percentile for everyone except the top four! 2) High Expectations/No Communications: Those in the top four positions are often to busy to provide anything other than their expectations without communicating important information to the employees. 3) Siloed: The internal "this is my turf" attitude amongst the key upper managers is very frustrating for those who are trying to get the job done and the products out the door. There are two separate "choke points" in the operation where a single person holds the power to stop, frustrate, or even sabotage the operations of the factory floor.
