Cons
If you hate yourself, if you don't care about your physical and mental health and if you think of suicide every day, this is the company to join. This is coming from one who worked there for 2 years. Don't take the following points about 4PX Leicester with levity: 1. It is a very letigous organisation, quick to recruit and quick to fire as they please. Labour turnover rate/ churn rate is terribly high. Its worst at the operatives level. And also occurs even at the supervisory or managerial level. The last manager left Feb 2024. In 2 years, they've had their 4 managers leave. 2. The business model is based off using fresh blood to get the hardest jobs done that's why they have 5 recruitment agencies. They find a way to get you fired if you've worked there for more than 2 years. 3. All the agencies don't have your back. They can pretend to but they only do it for the money. They can always find new recruits (people who need to pay bills) and no individual is special to them. 4. Limited opportunities for career growth. There's a limit to how far you can go and grow. The moment you sign them docucments to work with them, on the legal documentation, you're always going to be a temporary worker. Not permanent. 5. They had another branch in Northampton previously, but it was shut down. This particular branch in Leicester is almost empty as it is operating way under its capacity in otherwords, its a failing business. Right now their biggest client is the failing makers of the "Prime" drink. And we all know prime drink is just a urine drink that's only popular through heavy Youtube marketing. 6. They don't pay you your OVERTIME, unless you can complain EVERYTIME. 7. Their clocking system is unreliable. You can clock in and clock out but it doesn't reflect on your payslip. In otherwords, you don't get paid for overtime. People get underpaid here all the time. 8. Corporate politics and little racist decisions are being made on a daily. (The owners and top people are Chinese, the management are Chinese and a some europeans, the major work load is done by Indians, Pakistanis, and mostly African immigrants and these are the people that get the lowest pay). 9. The twins put in charge of training are not Linde Licensed trainers. The owners of the company do not want to invest in legit qualified Linde trainers because they believe that would reduce their profits so the twins have been given privileges, that's why they don't respect anyone who is not in management and they nod their heads to anyone who is above them in that warehouse. They're are racist and very sentimental. After training is given, they don't pay immediately. They say they're there for the safety of the drivers, but It's just corporate talk. They care more about the companies MHEs and how they're perceived by their superiors than they do about the people. And let me warn you, they have bad breath, talk too much and don't know how or when to shut up. 10. A lot of accidents have happened in the warehouse, back injuries, broken bones, families shattered. Heck one of the former team leaders, Parminder, got fired after he got a spinal injury while working there. He had to be taken away on a strecher by the ambulance while at work. The company fired him on the premise that he wasn't coming to work only for a few days. They don't care. If they think they don't need you, you'll be discarded. Many more accidents are expected to occur and they know this that's why they need someone else to do the risky work so if anything happens, that same person can be blamed. 11. The method of selecting who to train is biased and very racist and the twins, one of which is called Michal or Micheal or whatever, are now fully in charge of the selection process. If you can stroke their ego, If you kiss and lick their boots, they'll consider you for their training. 11. No sponsorship for foreigners. 12. Dedication is NOT rewarded here. You can work there for years, they can still leave you doing containers everyday for the rest of your life. Need I say more?
