Pros
If you want a workplace with no growth prospects, this company is perfect. Use the afternoon to work on your side projects if you're working here.
Cons
The CEO of the company is also the HR, IT support, and editor of the apparently "successful publication." Talk about being a jack of all trades and a master of none. He not only has a poor management style, but also lies to advertisers about his business and has no idea about how SEO/ website traffic works. He calls you names, swears constantly, tries to put you down to seem superior, displays symptoms of narcissism.
The CEO also yells at you for asking for passwords to their subscriptions. Employees are not very helpful if you ask them questions about the content either.
The employer calls up PR representatives of different companies, provokes them to create stories for ChannelNews (now BrandNoise) which is basically his blog at this point. Don't expect "quality journalism" here. Also if he is feeling particularly passive aggressive, he will stop responding to your emails and give you the cold shoulder when he can.
