Pros
At first the company was amazing I started two years ago and was in love I enjoyed my coworkers the open door policy and even though the products were not my dream things to work on I enjoyed everything I learned and worked on. Until the middle of last year.
Cons
Ever since the fall of 2014 the company has changed. Yes its hard to keep that close fun feel of a start up when you hire 100 people in a few months time but when they suddenly decided to spend 10million dollars on a lease and renovations for a building that wasn't necessary it started to get crappy. We lost alot of the amazing benefits promised to make budget cuts, no more company phones, free parking, and suddenly the very cheep health insurance doubled then added on a huge deductible. The comany was no longer its fun, "I love my job" environment, it was stressful and like walking on egg shells. There is now miss communication between design, engineering and higher ups about what's a priority. I would be working on a part of a project all day to get it done by the next morning to learn it wasn't the priority another part was but I was never told. On top of the fact that people have been dropping like fly's there. I counted 5 in one week before Christmas and it was continuing after Christmas. And big surprise, the pretty much demand people work for free, I worked 50hrs or so a week but only received pay for 40hrs because its all salary there no overtime, your expected to work for free for the "pride". I miss everyone I work with but the way the company is being run I wont be surprised if they either disappear, or become another mindless, corporate drone like graco. What a shame.
