Great company to work for

Sometimes gets stressful while working on multiple projects

Really well-organized engineering department. Well-defined responsibilities between distinct teams, like DevOps, Data Science, QA, Product Engineering, etc. Thoughtful engineering practices like setting aside sprint time for tackling tech debt, using modern technology stacks for the most part, writing tests and ensuring bug-tested code. Very much an agile workplace and well-organized, but sometimes not enough hands to distribute the vast work that needs to be done. Monthly all-hands to keep updated with the company's goals and progress. Half-days on Fridays during the summer. Welcoming environment and atmosphere, great people on the team.

Limited benefits for a start-up that's been around for several years. Start-ups nowadays offer benefits like stipends for health and wellness or remote-offices, sabbatical after X years, etc. Standard 15-day PTO plus sick days. No company refresh days or mental rest days. 401K match begins only after a year of full-time employment. No equity, but higher than average bonus. Consistent crunch times pushing out feature after feature to meet requirements, but user base is still very limited. Not much place for juniors as output needs to be high and impactful quickly. Employees in certain roles start as contractors for several months, which makes medical and related coverage difficult in the US.
