Pros

Working at a Google Cloud Premier Partner gives you direct exposure to cutting-edge GCP and AI/ML technologies. The onboarding process is well-structured — HR, compliance, and certification paths are clearly laid out from day one. Strong emphasis on upskilling through Google Partner Skills platform and certifications. Collaborative team with knowledgeable architects across Data Science and App Dev. Good work-life balance so far with a supportive people team.

Cons

Compensation could be more competitive for experienced engineers given the niche GCP expertise required. Certification expectations are high from the start, which can feel overwhelming during onboarding. Limited visibility into internal growth timelines and promotion criteria early on.

Pros

- Competitive benefits & compensation , especially if you negotiate at hiring - Very strong engineers and technical talent across the organization - Good partnership with Google and strong exposure to modern GCP and AI implementations - Leadership at the executive level is professional and generally well respected - Fully remote flexibility with a very nice Chicago office if you choose to go in - Significant investment in AI implementation projects

Cons

- Heavy micromanagement culture within middle management; limited trust given to experienced delivery leaders - Excessive template, process, and reporting enforcement that often prioritizes administrative compliance over actual project delivery. Their confluence space might as well be the manual on how to run a small country. - Reliance on Google referral work often leads to smaller, short-term engagements with tight margins - The consulting model has not fully matured into large, long-term enterprise programs - Private equity ownership appears to create strong margin pressure, and the company experienced significant layoffs in 2025
