7Factor Response
3yCalling every other review "a lie" is clearly a blanket overstatement. While I'm saddened by this individuals experience, I think there's a misunderstanding with respect to how difficult being a consultant actually is. Additionally, with respect to diversity I fully own our issues with hiring diverse talent, but claiming that it's "easily fixed by just looking harder" also demonstrates a gross misunderstanding of the hiring market and how problematic it is to find diverse talent that holds up to our hiring standards.
Chaos is normal in a growing company. This individual is best suited to a company with structure, performance reviews, and ladders/checkboxes to climb. That is not 7Factor right now, nor will it be us in the future. I started this company to escape those paradigms because I know them to be ineffective. Additionally, since I've never said "no" to a single request for a raise in the history of the company (which I can prove through our HRIS system), I am 100% confident this individual did receive the raise they asked for.
I'm sad that this review was posted and apologize to the employee for anything we did that caused them to feel this way, and we will learn from it. I wish this individual the best of luck.
