Pros
- Meet new people. - Exposure to the industry.
Cons
Terrible working hours, originally you are pitched a 9-5 however that turns to a 8am - 12am depending on what happens on a account you work on. Internal politics is rampant in the company, if you aren't on the "good" side then your career aspirations are done at the company. Nepotism in the company is one of the worse I've seen, People in higher positions bringing in their non-qualified family members in and giving them better positions over the people who have the experience of the work. HR is a laughing matter too as it is non-existant at this point, seems to be changed every so often with no improvements on handling employee issues but what can I say? They are employees of the company too. No overtime pay for the long hours that many people experience in the company but what gets given is a ride home and food? Not sufficient enough! Bullying tactics of some of the management team and other employees, like in the 2nd point I raised, if you aren't part of the "Good" side, you'll be bullied. Management participates in this game of cruelty too. Pay people fairly and not just a select few that play along with the game.
