Salary irregularities among the same level - Even some Analyst earns more than Managers, Poor staff welfare, No training, Poor delegation of duties, No growth in IT Department...Some have been in the same position for more than 7 while in commercial their counterparts are now HODs( Common! but this IT Guys are good). 10 years or above overall experience is minimum requirement for HOD but if you are in commercial and in Management good book, you can be promoted even if you are not qualified for it........ You KPI is being imposed to you by you line manager - whether is objective or not, you must deliver. When you fall out of favor with you line manager, he/she will give you one unrealistic objective so that when you are appraised, you will not meet expectation and as such will be relieved of your employment. As a manager and below, no perks, no perquisite, you pay for everything ( Even staff Bus) while a HOD will be given an cool Jeep (That will be his/her own after 4 years), designated parking spaces. In HR alone, almost all staff are Managers and above- they know how to take care of themselves in HR ( In-terms of promotions and reward). The main people that carry out the main work are not rewarded but rather only those that display elements of pretense and eye-service will be promoted. When your service is no longer needed, you will resume your normal duty, with no prior notice, Security men will come and collect all your working devices and lead you out of the door like a Robber..... Etisalat is generally who you know and not what you know.
